Typically 5-14 days is ideal for posed newborn photos. Babies are sleepier and naturally curl into womb-like poses.

Safety is one of the top concerns. I am trained in newborn posing safety. Using composite images for certain poses.

Parents usually want guidance so they don’t stress about outfit. For the baby, a plain onesie ready, along with anything meaningful you’d like photographed. If there are any sentimental baby blankets, toys, baby clothes, or accessories, we can absolutely include them in the photos.

Newborn sessions are slower than typical photoshoots. Typical timeframe 2-4 hours. This includes feeding breaks, diaper changes, and settling the baby with care.
